• Nelson McAlpine, 31, of St. Louis, Mo., faces a felony charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, being a Glock 10 mm, on Sunday, July 17.

• Brandon M. King, 33, of Granite City, faces felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, being cocaine, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, being a pistol, on or about Tuesday, July 19.

• Michael C. Vogel, 52, of Gillespie, faces felony charges of aggravated battery after allegedly pushing a peace officer in the chest and obstruction of justice after allegedly furnishing a false name, on Wednesday, July 20.

• Nicholas R. Knick, 24, of Mt. Olive, faces a felony charge of theft after allegedly taking 15 truck wheels from a Staunton business on or about Monday, June 27.

• Jordan J. Davis, 37, of Carlinville, faces felony charges of forgery and theft after allegedly delivering a counterfeit $100 on or about Saturday, June 18, in Carlinville.

• Shawn R. Cotton, 51, of Benld, faces felony charges of criminal trespass to a residence on North 8th Street in Benld and violation of an order of protection after allegedly yelling at a protected party on Thursday, July 21.

• Dakota S. Bone, 31, of Carlinville, was charged with violation of an order of protection after allegedly contacting a protected party via Snapchat on Wednesday, July 13.

• Ronald C. Ziegler, 44, of Litchfield, was charged with criminal damage to property after allegedly hitting a vehicle window with a bat on Tuesday, July 12.

• Leon L. Spinka, 60, of Brighton, was charged with violation of an order of protection after allegedly contacting a protected party via text message on Sunday, July 3.

• Kevin L. Morgan, 39, of Carlinville, was charged with two misdemeanors of criminal trespass to real property on Sumner Street in Carlinville on Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17.

• Richard J. Gum, 21, of Franklin, was cited for driving under the influence at 7:47 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Main Street at State Street in Palmyra.
