The HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary is inviting the public to participate in the third of four drive-thru dinners on Monday, Aug. 8, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to support the auxiliary’s scholarship fund.
Dinners must be ordered by Friday, July 29. Orders can be placed online at nelsonscatering.com/hshs-st-francis hospital, at the hospital gift shop or by contacting either Jeanne Banovic at 217-273-6716, Nancy Hyam at 217-254-4442 or Paula Endress at 217-324-8200.
The August drive-thru dinner pickup location will be in front of the hospital at the main entrance.
Dinner entrée will include an 8-ounce grilled pork chop, cheddar cheese potatoes, southern style green beans, roll and a delicious homemade dessert provided by the auxiliary bakers.
The auxiliary scholarship fund provides annual awards to students who reside principally in Montgomery or Macoupin counties, have completed one year of college and are pursuing degrees or diplomas in health-related occupations.
The next drive-thru dinner will take place Sept. 12.
