Historical society held meeting

The monthly meeting of the Macoupin County Historical Society will be held Monday, July 11, at 7 p.m. in the Ruyle Building on the historical grounds at 920 West Breckenridge, Carlinville.

The speaker for this month is Larry Werline who will be sharing "Stories from the Life of Ulysses S. Grant." Most people with some historical interest know some facts about Ulysses Grant.
