Ryan Pirok was employed as a school administrator for Staunton Junior High School during the board of education meeting held on Monday, June 20. He will begin his duties on July 1.
"Mr. Pirok brings a positive attitude and a high level of enthusiasm to Staunton schools. His excitement to return to his hometown and serve the students and families was evident and I look forward to the impactful difference he will make as a member of the team," stated Superintendent Brett Allen.
Pirok is coming to Staunton after serving as the band teacher for the Carlinville School District for nine years.
"I'm looking forward to taking the next step in my career as an administrator," Pirok said. "I'm thrilled that I will be able to pursue that in my hometown of Staunton. I am eager to get started and work alongside the staff and students of a great community and school district."
