The Village of Livingston is hosting their second annual Livingston Summer Fest on Saturday, June 18, from 2 until 9 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Park in Livingston.
This family friendly event is free to attend. City Heat will provide live music from 5 to 9 p.m. Kids will have fun play- ing in the bounce house and visiting the face painter (both at no charge). A variety of vendors will be available for browsing starting at 2 p.m. Barnes Bistro is back by popular demand as the food vendor, and Mike's Frozen Treats will be on hand if you have a craving for something sweet. The Hard Dog Café is sponsoring a hay ride shuttle to its location, where they will offer additional food and entertainment options.
The Olive Fire Protection District will have fire trucks on site. There will also be a silent auction for a variety of goods and services, generously donated by area businesses.
The event was first held in 2021 and was enjoyed by all ages. It provided a low-stress opportunity for friends and neighbors to in- teract and enjoy themselves after emerging from pandemic lock-down.
The village is looking forward to capital- izing on that by offering more kid-friendly activities.
Attendees are welcome to bring coolers and lawn chairs.
