Edna M. (Kelly) Audi, 90, of Divernon, Ill., formerly of Gillespie, died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield on Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was born Aug. 30, 1931, in Gillespie, to James Orville and Celia (Dillon) Kelly. She married Donald Audi on Aug. 22, 1953, at St. Joseph's Church in Benld.
She was retired after having been a secretary for the state of Illinois. Edna was a former member and president of the National Secretary's Association.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Audi of Divernon; children, Mark Audi (significant other, Sherrie Kunz) of Pawnee, Diane Audi of Lincoln; grandchildren, Kelli (Chad) Cordani, Becky (Mike) Eimer, Zack (Tracy) Audi, Bill Burg, Joe Audi; great-grandchildren, Trystan, Taylor, Taegun, Coryne, Michael, Ryleigh, Lola, Avary, Cayl, Brandon; siblings, Joe Kelly, Bill Kelly, Jim Kelly, Doris Donaldson, Freida Malloy, Betty Heck, Marjorie Taylor and Mary Lou Jubelt. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, John Kelly, Junior Kelly, Arlene Griva and Ellen Clemonds.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 4, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial was at Benld Cemetery in Benld.
