Photo series at Blackbird Bakery

A photo series, "Tracking Our History: Portraits of the Staunton Railway," will debut on Saturday, June 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Blackbird Bakery in Staunton.

The series will feature photos and information on the train network that ran in Staunton until 1956. Local historians William Bechem and Dennis Garrels will be available for you to learn more about Staunton's unique history and the train system that connected residents to Chicago, Springfield, St. Louis, and beyond.

Snacks, wine, and other refreshments will be provided.

The portrait series will remain on their gallery wall through July.
