Fatal crash in Macoupin County

A two-vehicle crash at Illinois Route 16 at County Line Road in Macoupin County resulted in a fatality on Tuesday, May 31, at 4:23 p.m.

The Illinois State Police's investigation revealed that Grace L. Keeton, age 23, from Litchfield was alone in her 2013 maroon Ford Fusion when she ran into the rear of a Red Ram RTS coach bus driven by Steven A. See, age 33, of Litchfield; with passengers Jason Hoos, 49, of Litchfield; Michael Phipps, 30,of Litchfield; and Kaleb Anderson, 30, of Fillmore. Keeton died at an area hospital.
