The senior play “Hollywood Hillbillies” was performed April 25 by the Staunton High School class of 1997.

Gary and Cheryll Sievers of Staunton will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on May 6.

Stephanie Sciutto and Nathan Calcari were married Dec. 21, 1996, in Orangeville, Ill.

Frank F. Intihar (89) of Staunton died April 27 at Community Memorial Hospital.

James Gordon Chronister (67) of Gillespie died April 25 in Gillespie.

Issue of May 2, 2007

An arrest was made in the murder case of Angela Lee of East Gillespie. Anthony A. Ashby of Litchfield was charged with five counts of first degree murder, one count of home invasion, one count of residential burglary, and one count of aggravated battery.

A son was born to Michele and Michael Benning of Raymond on April 23.
