The Mid-State Collectors Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, at Maverick Steaks and Spirits in Litchfield. Attendees are asked to arrive early and eat dinner prior to the 7 p.m. meeting. Plans are being made to host a 2022 antique tractor show. It's the Montgomery County Antique Farm Equipment Show on Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24, at Dennis Aumann Auction Site at 205 N. Walnut, in Ohlman. This show will be two full days of fun including kids pedal tractor races, big tractor and lawn tractor games. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. each day. There is no entry fee. The show welcomes all antique tractors and equipment - 1982 or older and small stationary gas engines. Bring your lawn chairs and join in the tractor fun. For more information contact, Dennis Aumann, 217-825-6384 or Jim Niemann, 217-556-9574.
During the summer at many area tractor shows and events Mid-State Collector Club members will be selling raffle tickets for a Oliver Pedal Tractor. The raffle tickets will be $1 each or six for $5 and the proceeds will be donated to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
Following the meeting there will be an interesting program presented. The collectors club invites anyone interested in antique farm related items to attend the meetings. All are welcome.
