On Friday, the 2nd grade classes at Staunton Elementary School enjoyed an Accelerated Reader rewards party at Edison's Entertainment Complex in Edwardsville. The arcade and bowling lanes offered lots of fun activities for the kids.
The Accelerated Reader program helps motivate children to read and monitors reading progress and comprehension.
