• Cody R. Harris, 31, of Virden, was charged with criminal damage to property, being a window, on or about Tuesday, Feb. 8.

• Shane J. Lomelino, 24, of Palmyra, was charged with resisting a peace officer on or about Wednesday, Feb. 16, by fleeing the scene after having been told by the officer that the defendant was under arrest.

• Dillard J. Dehart, 64, of Staunton, faces a felony charge of criminal sexual assault on or about Thursday, Feb. 17.

• Richard A. Sampson, 35, of Springfield, faces felony charges of domestic battery after allegedly striking a family or household member in the face with a closed fist and criminal damage to property, being a phone, sofa, camera, TV and sheets on or about Saturday, Feb. 19.

• Kenneth W. Boner, 25, of Staunton, faces felony charges of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, being a .38 caliber Bearman pistol, and unlawful use of a weapon after allegedly carrying the pistol, uncased, loaded with live rounds in the chamber and immediately accessible, in a vehicle while not on his own land or on the land of another as an invitee on or about Wednesday, Feb. 23.

• Matthew J. Motley, 51, of Herrick, was cited for driving under the influence at 2:08 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Rt. 111 and Richie Road in South Palmyra Township.
