The Zion Men’s Club and Ladies Aid of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton will hold their 63rd annual country sausage supper on Sunday, Feb. 6.
Due to continuing COVID restrictions, the full meal will be served as a carry-out and will be picked up by drive-thru only. Dinners are $11 each. Donations will also be accepted for Zion Youth Group to attend the July 2022 “In All Things” youth gathering.
The dinner will be served from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. You will be driving north on Hoxsey Street for meal pick-up. Traffic on Wood and Union streets will be one-way (south only) from Henry to Spring (old KC parking lot) or Panhorst. Go north on Hoxsey for meal pick-up at the school, then exit north onto Elm Street. If that sounds confusing – don’t worry. They will have plenty of cones and people directing traffic. Just follow the signs.
The menu will include all your favorites from previous years.
For those who wish to purchase meat, they will be selling fresh and fried pork sausage, blood and liver sausage, and summer sausage. Meat sales will be conducted outside on the east side of Zion School on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4 and 5. Friday meat sales will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday sales will be from 9 a.m. until noon.
