Court

Douglas Bursely (50) of Maryland Heights, Mo., has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance in that on May 3, 2019, defendant knowingly and unlawfully possessed a substance containing heroin, a controlled substance, other than as authorized in the controlled substance act.

Bobby L. Walker (32) of Pekin has been charged with driving while license suspended on Dec. 20, 2021, and Dec. 28, 2021. Defendant drove a 2006 Cadillac Escalade on Old Route 66 near Mt. Olive while his driver’s license was suspended and had previously committed the same offense in 2014 and 2018.

Erik T. Cheek (41) of Shipman has been charged with driving while license revoked in that on Dec. 22, 2021, the defendant drove a 2005 Honda Civic in Carlinville and had been convicted of the same offense on three previous occasions in years 2003, 2019 and 2015.

Kyle R. Lincoln (32) of Brighton has been charged with possession of controlled substance in that on or about Aug. 8, 2021, he knowingly possessed less than 15 grams of cocaine or a substance containing cocaine.

Ashley M. Kahl (23) of Virden has been charged with methamphetamine possession in that on Jan. 6, 2022, she knowingly possessed less than 5 grams of methamphetamine.

Sharon D. Conlee (63) has been charged with criminal trespass to residence in that on Jan. 6, 2022, defendant knowingly remained within a residence at Wilsonville after being told to leave.

Brittany D. Cottingham (32) of Carlinville has been charged with theft in that on or about Sept. 20, 2021, defendant knowingly obtained control over property of Leslie Hardison, being funds drawn on Hardison’s bank account, having a total value of not in excess of $500 intending to deprive Hardison of the use and benefit of the property.

Adam R. Guild (28) of Staunton has been ticketed for operating uninsured vehicle, failure to reduce speed/accident, and two counts of driving under the influence while driving a silver 2002 Toyota on Route 4 at Country Club Lane in Staunton on Jan. 1 at 4:05 a.m.

Ashley Kahl (23) of Virden has been charged with three counts on Jan. 6, 2022, for operating uninsured vehicle, driving while license suspended and being in possession of stolen vehicle, a 2014 yellow Ford truck registered in Indiana.
