The Citizen of the Year recipient for 2021 was announced Friday night at the tree-lighting celebration. Bud and Sue Gilliam were the winners of this honor.
The selection of the Citizen of the Year was done by nomination from the residents of the City of Staunton through online and paper nominations. Nominations were reviewed and chosen by a group of Chamber of Commerce members.
