On Dec. 2 the seniors enjoyed an amazing meal catered by R&B’s for our Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner. Before the meal pastor Debbie Atkins gave prayer. After the meal President Gerry Cook called the meeting to order and led the 30 members in attendance with the Pledge of Allegiance.
The secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. There was no old business. Under new business it was voted on and approved to donate $100 to St. Paul United Church of Christ for an automatic door opener. It was announced about Ruby Hering giving up her treasurer’s position at the end of the year. It was voted on to have Toni Janus as the new treasurer. We welcomed two new members Vicki Pryor and Mary Lyons. Also a free bingo card was given to each member who was wearing something pertaining to Christmas which will carry through to the next meeting. Card requests were made for Cheryl Moore and Nancy Johns.
Attendance prizes went to Ruby Hering and Adele Kinnikin. Pot of Silver winners were Bernadette Banovz and Adele Kinnikin. The Glenwood prizes were won by Mary Lyons, Helen Lindsey, Bev Williams, and Elsie Gaurienti.
