Scholastic Bowl A team 4th in tournament

The Staunton High School Scholastic Bowl A team placed 4th at the David Riley Memorial IHSSBCA Kickoff Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 20. The tournament was held at Granite City High School. Schools participating in the tournament were Springfield, Carlinville, Althoff Catholic, Granite City, Riverton, Alton, Greenville and Villa Duchesne. The Staunton A team won matches against Greenville A ( 305 to 75) , Granite City B( 235- 50), Carlinville (285-175), Riverton B (245-60) and Althoff Catholic HIgh School (220- 215).
