Tamera Ann Murphy, 54, of Livingston, Ill., died on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Tami was born on March 1, 1967, in Staunton. She was the daughter of Rufus Huddleston and Annamarie (Brabec) Stewart. Tami married Timothy Murphy on Nov. 18, 2011, in Edwardsville. Tim preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2019.
Tamera was a technician for Alton Mental Health for 28 years. She, along with her late husband Tim, enjoyed Cardinal baseball.
Tami is survived by her son, Cody Huddleston-Gibb; stepdaughter, Tabitha Henson-Murphy (fiancé, Jeremy Layton); step-grandsons, Malaki Layton and Zayden Layton; brother, Kenneth (Lisa) Huddleston; niece, Malissa Huddleston; and stepfather, James T. Stewart. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Timothy Murphy.
A private committal service will be held at the Altar of Sacred Heart Cemetery located near Livingston. Interment of her cremains will also be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
