    The Gillespie Minor Soccer Association and the Coal Country Complex Foundation have planned their 17th annual Trivia Night and Silent Auction to be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Benld Civic Center located at 201 East Central Avenue in Benld - across from FEMA’s. Doors will be open at 6 p.m. and play will begin at 7 p.m. The cost to participate is $10 per person on each team.     The Staunton/BH Bulldogs were trailing 15-20 when heading to the lockerroom after the first half. But they were not done scoring.     The 2023 Ill. fall trout season will open Saturday, Oct. 21 at 59 ponds, lakes, and streams throughout the state, and the Ill. Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) is warning anglers that warm weather will delay some early stockings this fall.
