    The registration period to join the Bunker Hill Library Summer Reading Program, which is located at 220 E. Warren St., in Bunker Hill, Ill., 62014, opens up Monday, June 3, 2024. The Summer program accepts anyone within the age of infancy and 17 years old.     On Thursday, May 23, 2024, the Class of 2024 Farm Credit agriculture scholars were recognized during a scholarship luncheon at Carriage House Event Center in Altamont, Ill. A total of $75,000 of scholarships were awarded to 30 high school seniors. Each scholar receives $2,500 from FCI to pursue a degree within the field of agriculture.     Illinois hunters harvested a preliminary statewide record total of 17,208 wild turkeys during the 2024 Illinois spring turkey season.
