At its annual Bunker Hill High School commencement this month, Bunker Hill CUSD No. 8 issued a Seal of Work Ethic to twelve additional diplomas. The community of Staunton has received, and hopefully will continue to receive, a love of very good publicity thanks to an annual Tour de Donut bicycle race. But an event such as this does not run automatically by itself – it needs the very real support of local volunteers. Past races have drawn over 1,000 participants.
