The annual Owl Prowl and Weiner Roast will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 4-7 p.m. The fire-pit will be ready at 4 p.m. so bring your own hot dogs, buns, drinks, and a dish or two to share. Businesses, organizations, and individuals are being sought to participate in the Livingston Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 8. The preferred registration deadline is Sunday, Oct. 2, for those who want to decorate a vehicle and pass out treats to children at the event. Raymond and Dorothy Arzig Stoddard of Mt. Olive celebrated their 70th anniversary on Jan. 12, 2022. The couple was married on Jan. 12, 1952, at the home of Eugene “Jeep” and Dolores “Pete” Niehaus of rural Litchfield by Rev. Karl Heuchert. Raymond then served in the United States Army from 1952 until 1954. His military service included a tour of duty in Korea.
