Experience the true meaning of Christmas through a reenactment of the Bible’s Luke chapter 2, the birth of Jesus, on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. The program begins in a heated shed before following the shepherds to the manger scene complete with live animals underneath the night sky. The second annual Meet and Greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Livingston Grocery Store, 421 Livingston Ave., Livingston. This special event is completely free to attend. The Women’s Council of St. Michael's Catholic Church will be sponsoring a Holiday Country Store and a 50/50 drawing in the school gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from this country store and 50/50 drawing will go to the various charitable activities sponsored by the Women's Council. The Staunton Terriers were recently crowned champions of the Gillespie Tournament. Staunton opened play on Saturday, Nov. 12, against Southwestern with a 31-19 victory.
