Staunton’s Volunteer Fire Department will be turning 100 in 2023 and they would like to celebrate the occasion with a brand new SFPD logo. Twenty-six golf teams gathered at Timber Lakes Golf Course on Sept. 30 for the "Final Round" and celebration of Bob Price's life. The event raised $19,470 for Bob's scholarship fund. Two Illinois State Police trooper buglers were there to play the national anthem prior to tee off. Zion Lutheran youth group will be sponsoring a Christmas Trivia Night with dessert auction on Friday, Nov. 11, at Concordia Hall in Staunton.
