The community of Staunton has received, and hopefully will continue to receive, a love of very good publicity thanks to an annual Tour de Donut bicycle race. But an event such as this does not run automatically by itself – it needs the very real support of local volunteers. Past races have drawn over 1,000 participants. PAG was organized in 1928 and served 11 stores in Staunton and four in nearby towns. In 1954 a new building was constructed on Route 4, now Livingston Pipe and Tube.
