Each year, the Staunton Clergy Association provides 75 to 100 backpacks and supplies to children in need within the Staunton School system. They are reaching out to businesses, organizations and individuals in our community to help with this project through monetary donations (made payable to St. Paul UCC) or items needed. It was a beautiful day at the SCC. The grounds being in such good condition made it easy golfing. Sue Stiegemeier and Linda Rohe had low gross with a 38. The low net was the team of Bev Kramer and Deb McNaughton with a 22. The low putts was Sue and Linda (12). Sue also had a birdie on #2 and Sue and Linda had a chip-in. All the teams did really well. The Village of Livingston is hosting the third annual Livingston Summer Fest. The event will be held on Saturday, July 1, at the Veteran's Memorial Park in Livingston. This family friendly event is free to attend. Lefty Daytona will provide live music from 5-8 p.m. They have an expanded Kids Zone this year. Activities include a magic show at 12 noon, a balloon artist, bounce houses, a Story Book Walk, a face painter and snow cones. Most are at no charge.
