    The Staunton High School Lady Bulldogs softball team added two wins to their season record last week defeating both Greenfield/Northwestern and Bunker Hill. On May 10, the girls defeated Greenfield 11-0 in a 5-inning game. Taylor Nolan had 3 hits including a triple and a home run, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs.     The Millikin baseball team swept a key College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) doubleheader over North Park University on May 6 at the Workman Family Baseball Field in Decatur. Freshman Cayden Silvester played a key role in the game one victory. Silvester, a Staunton High School graduate, was 3-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. Millikin was 25-15 overall after the wins.     The Staunton High School men's track team competed in a quad meet Tuesday, May 9, at Gillespie. In addition to Staunton, teams competing included Gillespie, Greenville, and Piasa (Southwestern).     The Illinois State Police (ISP) released the final name of the seven people fatally injured in multiple crashes that occurred on May 1 at approximately 10:55 a.m. There were accidents on both northbound and southbound Interstate 55 between mile markers 72 and 78, near Farmersville in Montgomery County.
