    After a reduced level of structure due to CO- VID-19, the Staunton Chamber of Commerce has returned to full function. Events are back in action and monthly meetings have returned.     By Kelly Costa During Monday night’s city council meeting, the council approved a resolution adopting a Conflicts of Interest Policy for the city.. This newly adopted policy is to protect the city’s interests when it is considering taking action or entering a transaction that might benefit the private interests of an elected official or city employee, or otherwise violate state and federal laws governing conflicts of interest applicable to municipal organizations.   • Monthly flea markets coming soon to St. Paul UCC lawn

    St. Paul Second Chances: A Mixture of This and That will take place on the third Saturday of each month from May through October at St. Paul UCC (corner of Union and Mill streets) in Staunton. The flea market will be set up on the front lawn from 8 a.m. to noon. You can rent a 10' x 10' spot for $25 each day and sell any “junk,” products or creations.
