On Saturday, April 6, the Zion Lutheran Youth Group will be hosting a trivia night at the Staunton Country Club. Doors open at 6 p.m. and trivia begins at 7 p.m. Tables of 8-10 are welcome for the price of $15 per person. The 2023 SamJam BBQ & Boogie, which was held on November 18 at Rustic Venues near Girard, generated a donation of $10,000 to Neurofibromatosis (NF) Midwest. The event was created in 2014 in honor of Sam Oswald, a Carlinville resident who has battled NF since being diagnosed at age four.
